This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the SingWS Kiosk Android app. The app is a kiosk interface for the SingWS karaoke request service at singws.com.

Information the app handles

When you set up the app, you enter a show code. The app stores that code on the device so it can reopen the selected kiosk and uses it to load the corresponding SingWS page.

When you search for songs, submit requests, or use other features of the SingWS site, the information needed for those actions is sent to SingWS and the applicable venue or show account. This can include search terms, selected songs, and information you choose to enter into the site.

Like most websites, SingWS may receive ordinary technical information through web requests, such as an IP address, browser or WebView type, device and operating-system information, timestamps, and security or error logs. This information is used to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Device permissions and local storage

The Android app requests only the Internet permission. It does not request access to contacts, photos, files, precise location, camera, microphone, phone calls, SMS, or payment information.

The app stores the show code locally in Android app storage. The SingWS web page may also use cookies or browser storage for normal site functionality. Clearing the app data or uninstalling the app removes the locally stored show code and app WebView data.

How information is used

• To load the selected SingWS kiosk.
• To search the karaoke catalog and submit song requests.
• To maintain the venue or show request queue.
• To protect the service, diagnose problems, and keep it working.

Sharing and advertising

Information submitted through the service may be available to the venue or show operator associated with the selected show code because that is necessary to provide the karaoke request service. SingWS may use hosting and infrastructure providers to operate the service.

The SingWS Kiosk Android app does not include advertising SDKs and is not designed to sell personal information.

Data retention

Information may be retained for as long as needed to operate the selected venue or show, maintain request history, provide support, and protect the service. Retention can vary by venue configuration and operational requirements.

Children

SingWS Kiosk is a general-purpose karaoke request tool and is not directed to children under 13.
